This position is a sales leader responsible for positioning SCRAM Systems Products (SCRAM CAM, SCRAM Remote Breath, SCRAM GPS, SCRAM House Arrest, SCRAM Nexus Software and the evolving mobile and software applications) as the industry leader with service partners, courts, and ancillary agencies. The position is responsible for managing a team of Regional Sales Managers (RSM). Responsible for managing existing accounts and the introduction and sales of SCRAM products and services to business owners, directors, commissioners, judges and government department heads. Responsible for maintaining ongoing communication with all West-Area customers to develop and enhance positive relationships, complete all contract and RFP responsibilities, promote company products and services, and ensure customer satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
- Work closely with the Director of Account Management to create the optimum team-selling approach within the defined business territories
- Oversee the creation of defined account-strategy plans per customer in an effort to improve training, implementation requirements, and the development of criteria-based programs
- Establish monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives for the sales team and forecast pipeline for the management team
- Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and to expand the company’s customer base
- Lead and manage a field team of individual contributor regional sales managers
- Empower the sales team and hold them accountable to sales and services usage growth from month to month and year over year
- Provide leadership in the customer lifecycle from prospecting to qualifying to close to post sale support and growth
- Identify and close sales opportunities in existing and new targeted accounts. Utilize all company resources, including management team, customer service, sales support and strategic sales team members to achieve objectives
- Manage sales team’s strategic account plan for each territory consistent with the customer business/strategic plan
- Assist each territory team with identifying, justifying, and planning for their information and service needs to ensure field execution and business growth
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms and conditions within the company approval boundaries with new and current accounts
- Develop and enhance ongoing relationships with key executives in each assigned account, including business owners, directors, commissioners, judges and department heads
- Work closely with the director of account management to ensure current customers are educated and trained on all SCRAM Systems Products and services
- Act as a communication liaison between AMS internal departments, AMS regional sales managers, and customer at all levels to ensure prompt handling of customer inquiries/issues and customer satisfaction
- Forecast new and existing account growth/revenue in assigned territory as requested by the COO.
- Provide customer status reports, key prospecting data, trip reports and other sales reports as requested.
- Represent company at national/local trade shows and conferences, mandatory bidders’ conferences, as required
- Prospect, qualify and develop new customer relationships, and position the value of SCRAM Systems to service partners, courts, and government agencies.
- Effectively articulate the SCRAM Systems value proposition to customers using court and service partner references, marketing materials, peer-reviewed validation studies, and scientific and technological foundations
- Manage, maintain and nurture relationships with current customers and partners
- Coordinate and manage supporting account services (sales management, marketing management, customer services, etc.) so that SCRAM Systems is well positioned throughout the sales cycle
- Pursue professional and personal development activities
- Manage AMS’ CRM system on a timely basis with accurate customer and pipeline information
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Criminal Justice, Communications or equivalent experience
Required Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of sales processes and cycles
- Basic understanding of Company operations
- Direct experience teaching, mentoring and coaching junior and mid-level sales staff.
Experience Required:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience with significant experience in agency direct, state, federal, channel sales and direct business-to-business sales
- Prior sales management experience highly preferred
Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to effectively communicate AMS’s and SCRAM Systems value propositions to multiple audiences
- Proven record of achieving sales goals.
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills including the ability to effectively coach leaders, build relationships and leverage resources to advance business strategy.
- Salesforce.com experience preferred
- Well-organized and ability to multitask
- Able to operate all related computer applications and business machines
- Analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to apply strategic knowledge to solve complex customer business problems

Help position the SCRAM System products as the industry leaders (Criminal Justice) in alcohol and location monitoring with courts and government agencies within the state of Illinois. Assist in the development of new and existing customer relationships within geographic territory. Assist in the operational functions of SSI by driving organizational efficiency and streamlined program execution through staff management.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
Staff Management
· Determine staffing requirements based on business needs and annual budget
· Interview, hire and train new employees as required
· Supervise equipment installers through the monitoring and evaluation of their performance.
· Define operating procedures to be performed by staff for client and equipment management and agency/court interaction and reporting
· Perform quarterly visits to each office to evaluate office operations
· Set clear expectations for DAP Alert Follow-up
· Assist and clarify operational duties at local offices as required
Business Development
· Conduct monthly calls with Regional Sales and Account Managers and Business Development to coordinate business development activities for new and existing program growth
· Conduct weekly calls with local offices to discuss business development objectives and operational concerns
· Oversee annual updates to strategic territory planning spreadsheet and development of annual business plan
· Develop business development quarterly plans for each key agency to maintain existing business and identify new pockets of growth
- Deliver annual reporting packages to enhance communications with agencies, courts, and judges on their program effectiveness
- Enhance awareness of SSI through semi- annual newsletters
- Assist in gathering input prior to each agency visit addressing critical operational concerns
- Participate in key industry trade shows to increase SSI’s awareness and drive business
- Conduct agency, prosecutor, defense attorney and judges training-CLE’s to expand knowledge and awareness of SCRAM Systems
- Rollout new SCRAM technology to validate its use in driving operational efficiency or new business
- Prepare non-compliance reports and notify courts on all non-compliance violations
- Prepare court hearing documents and testify in scheduled court hearings
- Build strong relationships with each agencies’ ASA’s, PO’s, Defense Attorneys and Judges
- Address any public relations concerns around client actions as they arise
- Be available to staff to answer technical, equipment or operational questions as they arise
- Assist and clarify operational duties at local offices as required

Experience:

Description
This position is a Hybrid position located on-site in Littleton, CO
POSITION PURPOSE
Develop product test and verification processes and equipment, for new product development and ongoing manufacturing. Participate in putting new processes in place to improve productivity.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
- Develop and execute test plans and protocols for highly rugged electronics products, from concept prototypes through field trials, to verify they meet required performance specifications. This includes: lab/bench testing, product testing and environmental / accelerated life testing.
- Develop specialized equipment and test methods to be used by manufacturing and suppliers to perform quality checks on final products and PCB assemblies.
- Complete documentation of test equipment, schematics, wiring diagrams and assembly instructions.
- Participate in creating Project Plans including Project Schedules. This includes estimating time required to implement various tasks associated with test development, establish milestones and meet those milestones.
- Effectively use AMS’s Product Development Process and industry standard product development methodologies and design tools. Test Requirements Document, architecture, high-level design, detail design, schematics, revision control, modular coding, code coverage testing, boundary testing, developer testing and product verification testing. Design reviews are conducted throughout the development process. Participate in the continuous improvement of engineering practices and procedures.
- As an individual contributor, meet project objectives with innovation, creativity and good engineering practice. Design new, innovative product tests and enhancements/improvements to current tests. Seek new and better technologies and methods to increase test performance. When appropriate initiate putting in additional hours to stay off assigned project’s critical path.
- Deploy test equipment to the production area and to contract manufacturing facilities. Provide necessary training and ongoing support of production
- Continuously improve skills required; seeking training through seminars, literature, industry shows/workshops and relevant course work.

QUALIFICATIONS (TESTENG)
- High level of natural curiosity of relevant technologies.
- Experience using formal Product Development Processes.
- Demonstrated competence in LabVIEW, utilizing computer controlled instrumentation and data collection services.
- Demonstrated experience testing highly rugged industrial / consumer electronic products.
- Demonstrated experience developing test documentation.
- Demonstrated experience in successfully transferring test systems into Production and providing Production/Sustaining support throughout the product life cycle.
- Demonstrated success in designing robust test systems.
