The National Association of Counties (NACo) is hosting its 77th Annual Conference and Exposition in Pittsburgh, July 13-17, 2012. The Annual Conference provides county officials with a great opportunity to vote on NACo’s policies related to federal legislation and regulation, network with colleagues, learn about innovative county programs, and find out about issues impacting counties across the country.

As a sponsor of NACo’s  Justice and Public Safety Steering Committee and the Rural Action Caucus, we at AMS are delighted to be a part of this conference and organization. Not only will we be onsite as an exhibitor, but our representatives will also attend the various Steering Committee and Caucus meetings.

On Friday July 13th AMS will host a panel discussion entitled “County Perspectives on Continuous Alcohol Monitoring Technology” during the Justice and Public Safety Steering Committee. Stay tuned for news and other items of interest from the conference!

Sobering Up: A blog about drunk driving, alcohol addiction, and criminal justice, is anything but a corporate blog. Sobering Up is an opportunity for anyone interested or involved in the issues of drunk driving, alcohol-fueled crime, alcohol dependence and addiction, and the justice system to participate in the conversation.
