On Saturday August 4, 2012 a team of Alcohol Monitoring System employees joined over 1,000 other walker to support the 7th annual Denver Walk Like MADD event. The AMS team “SCRAMblers” helped raise over $1,200 as they completed a 5k loop around Sloan’s Lake Park in Denver, Colo. Other team members participated in the Health and Safety Fair where there were opportunities to provide the community with information about SCRAMx programs and services in Colorado.

Funds raised for Walk Like MADD further the mission of the organization by providing critical funding for the local Colorado MADD organization. AMS representatives had an opportunity to visit with Vikie Knox, the Chief Operating Officer of MADD, as well as other supporters such as Mayor Michael Hancock, Denver DA Mitch Morrsey, Colonel James Wolfenbarger of the Colorado State Patrol, and many victims and family members. AMS is proud to support the efforts of MADD and “The campaign to eliminate drunk driving”.
