
Chief Compliance Officer
Ken Denton serves as Chief Compliance Officer for Vehicle Safety, where he leads compliance strategy, regulatory alignment, and operational support for LifeSafer ignition interlock and impaired driving prevention solutions.
Ken is a respected leader in the ignition interlock and breath alcohol testing industry, with deep expertise in regulatory compliance, program administration, and stakeholder engagement. He works closely with policymakers, program administrators, and industry partners to support effective compliance programs and advance safer roads.
Prior to the merger of SCRAM Systems and LifeSafer in 2021, Ken served as Vice President of Regulatory Compliance for LifeSafer, where he helped strengthen regulatory partnerships and support business growth. Before entering the private sector, he spent 25 years with the Washington State Patrol, retiring as a sergeant after a distinguished career in impaired driving enforcement, breath alcohol testing administration, and program leadership.
Ken also managed Washington’s Ignition Interlock Oversight Program and served as Vice President of the Association of Ignition Interlock Program Administrators, contributing to national best practices for ignition interlock programs.
