With the Memorial Day weekend fast approaching, many Americans will spend their long weekend under the warm sun, grilling hamburgers or hotdogs, hanging with friends, and possibly throwing back a few cold beers. We want to remind you that drinking and driving is not cool and to stay safe this holiday weekend.<\/p>\n

We also want to share a few safety tips from our friends at MADD<\/a>.<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Plan a safe way home if you do plan on drinking<\/li>\n
  2. Wear your seatbelt, even if you are in the back seat<\/li>\n
  3. Don\u2019t call or text while driving<\/li>\n
  4. Slow down as many families will be on the road ways possibly visiting friends and family<\/li>\n
  5. Be aware of other drivers and watch out for those who may not have taken this list to heart<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Many counties across the country are gearing up for the holiday traffic by increasing patrols and sobriety checkpoints. Stay safe this holiday weekend and don\u2019t drink and drive.<\/p>\n
